This unique partnership allows you to enjoy the companionship of a beautiful French Bulldog while playing a vital role in their care and development.
At The Bailey Barn, we believe every French Bulldog deserves a loving, family-centered home. Our Guardian Program allows select families to raise one of our exceptional Frenchies while playing a meaningful role in our ethical breeding program.
By offering the Guardian Program, we are able to ensure that our dogs get to live their best possible lives in a loving, caring home where they receive as much one on one attention as possible!

What is a Guardian Family?
A Guardian Family agrees to raise and care for one of our French Bulldogs while we retain breeding rights for a limited time.
What expenses are Guardian Families responsible for?
Guardians are responsible for all “regular” dog care including providing food, treats, toys, etc. They are also responsible for normal vet care that is not breeding related. The dog must be kept up to date on all shots, flea and tick meds, and heartworm medication.
What happens after the dog is done breeding?
Once retired, the dog will be spayed at our expense, and full ownership will be transferred to you permanently.
Will I be responsible for breeding or whelping?
No. All breeding and whelping will be handled by us. You simply care for your Frenchie at home in between litters.
What if I decide not to breed the dog?
Guardian Families do not have the option to opt out. If you’re no longer able or willing to participate in the program, the dog must be returned immediately to The Bailey Barn.
What if the dog gets sick or injured?
You are responsible for the dog’s daily health and safety. If the dog becomes unable to breed due to injury, illness, or negligence, the dog must be returned and the agreement may be terminated.
